Goji bushes are grown in moderately dry areas at elevations of about 3,600 m above sea level. They mostly prosper in China and in certain parts of Mongolia. The orange, sweetish berries growing on goji bushes contain a number of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and have been used in Chinese for thousands of years as nature’s greatest gift for our health.

The goji bush produces up to three kilograms of berries every day. To prepare one litre of juice from the Ningxia goji up to six kilograms of berries must be picked manually. After the berries are picked, they are immediately cold pressed. Thanks to this procedure, the resulting juice retains its beneficial properties even after pressing and racking. They retain their unique characteristics and at the same time there is also no need for chemical treatment or use of preservatives or dyes.
